New vice wing commander arrives in December

Col. Lenny Richoux, division chief of Strategy and Assessment, Directorate of Communication, Secretary of the Air Force, Washington, D.C., will succeed Col. Manson Morris as the 18th Wing vice commander in December. 

Prior to his current assignment in Washington, Colonel Richoux served as a KC-135 R/T aircraft commander with the 93rd Air Refueling Squadron, Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash.; chief of wing safety, 437th Airlift Wing, Charleston AFB, S.C.; commander of the 17th Airlift Squadron, Charleston AFB, S.C.; and National Defense Fellow at The Center for a New American Security, Washington, D.C. 

Colonel Richoux is a command pilot with more than 3,000 flight hours under his belt. He has flown numerous combat and combat support missions in support of operations Desert Calm, Southern Watch, Northern Watch, Provide Comfort, Restore Hope, Deny Flight, Allied Force, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
