Kadena F15s deploy to USCENTCOM
More than 300 Airmen from the 18th Wing at Kadena Air Base, Japan, wait to board an aircraft for a deployment to Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, April 27, 2020. During their deployment, Airmen assigned to 18th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 18th Component Maintenance Squadron, 18th Equipment Maintenance Squadron, 18th Munitions Squadron, 18th Maintenance Operations Flight, and 18th Operations Support Squadron along with the 44th Fighter Squadron are supporting ongoing operations to maintain air superiority, defend forces on the ground, enhance regional partnerships, and demonstrate a continued commitment to regional security and stability in the U.S. Central Command theater.
