A U.S. Air Force F-15C Eagle from the 44th Fighter Squadron lands at Kadena Air Base, Japan, Oct. 3, 2020, after returning from a deployment to the U.S. Central Command theater to defend U.S. and partner nation interests, while creating logistical flexibility. During their deployment, Airmen assigned to 18th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 18th Component Maintenance Squadron, 18th Equipment Maintenance Squadron, 18th Munitions Squadron, 18th Maintenance Operations Flight, and 18th Operations Support Squadron along with the 44th FS supported ongoing operations maintaining air superiority, defending forces on the ground, enhancing regional partnerships, and demonstrating a continued commitment to regional security and stability.
