Kadena Airmen support disaster relief efforts

More than 100 Airmen from Kadena are deployed in support of disaster relief operations following the earthquake and tsunami on mainland Japan March 11.

The Airmen are helping with search and rescue missions, providing additional medical capability, and restoring electrical power.

"We are here to stand beside our Japanese allies following this tragic event," said Brig. Gen. Ken Wilsbach, 18th Wing commander.
