National American Indian Heritage Month

Chief Warrant Officer Gary Walker, 3rd Marine Division, spoke about his grandfather, Sam Holiday a Navajo Code Talker at the National American Indian Luncheon on Kadena Air Base Nov. 30. Sam Holiday served in World War II in the Fourth Marine Division, 25th Regiment, H&S Company and was awarded the Congressional Silver Medal.
