A search and rescue team was sent to Tham Luang cave in Northern Thailand at the request of the Royal Thai government to assist in the rescue of missing Thai soccer players and their coach.

Sean Hopper, 320th Special Tactics Squadron pararescueman, prepares a demonstration of the Tham Luang Cave rescue using a weighted training dummy, Aug. 10, 2018, at Kadena Air Base, Japan. During the rescue, members of Team Kadena carried the children from chamber to chamber and dove with them from the third chamber to the second chamber where they were handed off to the Australian team members, who then handed them off to the Thai team members.
