Suicide Prevention Month part 4: Stay Strong
The acronym “A.C.E.,” which stands for ask, care and escort, can be used to remember the necessary steps to help someone who is dealing with suicidal thoughts. A good wingman asks someone directly if they are having suicidal thoughts, cares by listening without interrupting and escorts them to a supervisor, chaplain or other suicide prevention resource.
