April was declared Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month by U.S. Forced Japan-Okinawa leaders from every branch of service April 4, 2016, at Kadena Air Base, Japan. April is being declared as Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, but leaders and SAPR specialist emphasized that preventing and responding to sexual assault is not just a one month deal, it happens every single day.
