KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Service members, volunteers and retired veterans participated in POW/MIA Remembrance events held at Kadena Air Base, Japan, Sept. 14-15. The event initiated with a 24-hour run and was followed by a ruck march held the morning of the POW/MIA Remembrance day. Military bases observed POW/MIA Remembrance Day to ensure Americans stand behind those who serve and do everything they can to account for those who never returned.
