Brig. Gen. Molloy thanks Okinawa Police Station Chief

Brig Gen Matt Molloy, 18th Wing commander, presented a certificate of appreciation and a wing coin to Kiyomasa Yasumura, Chief of the Okinawa Police Station during a visit to the station on March 21.

Chief Kiyomasa Yasumura is retiring from the Okinawa Prefectural Police (OPP) force after 34 years of honorable service.

During the visit, General Molloy expressed his great appreciation for Chief Yasumura's support to Kadena Law Enforcement by adding off base patrols to secure Kadena's perimeter during increases in FPCON condition measures. He also provided extensive cooperation for criminal investigations, and combating spice by identifying and neutralizing several headshops.
