You've got mail ... and extended holiday hours at the Kadena Post Office

KADENA AIR BASE, Japan --  As the holidays draw closer, packages are starting to pile up at the Kadena Post Office.

The postal staff recommends residents check their post office box daily to ensure there is room for the influx of packages expected to arrive on island over the next few weeks. 

Also, Dec. 19 through Dec. 23, the Kadena Post Office will extend parcel pick-up hours to 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
