31st RQS demonstrates readiness, capabilities during Rescue Fest

Airmen from the 31st Rescue Squadron hosted the second-annual Rescue Fest at Kadena's 31st RQS hangar, Feb. 26. The event was open to all service members and their families and showcased the squadron's mission through demonstrations and activities.

More than 1,000 guests attended the event and participated in rock climbing, simulated parachute jumps, survival camp, and live-action rescue simulations by the 31st RQS pararescuemen, which demonstrated the Air Force's readiness and capabilities.
