18th Wing commander identifies new off-limits location Published Nov. 5, 2009 By 18th Wing Public Affairs KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Brig. Gen. Ken Wilsbach, 18th Wing commander, officially placed the Takahara Hotel, also known as the "Haunted Hotel," located in Ishado Nakagusuku Village, off-limits to 18th Wing personnel Nov. 5 due to safety reasons. This order applies to permanently assigned or attached military, civilian, Air Force contracting personnel and dependents. Violation of this order is punishable under the Uniform Code of Military Justice for military personnel and adverse administrative action under the Kadena Disciplinary Action Program for civilian members.
