Kadena Firefighters "Fill the Boot" for Special Olympics Published Aug. 10, 2009 By 18th Wing Public Affairs KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Kadena firefighters and their families will be hosting a "Fill the Boot" fundraiser Aug. 15 and 16 for the upcoming Kadena Special Olympics. The fundraiser will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kadena BX and Commissary. All donations benefit the Special Olympics, which will be held Nov. 14. This year marks the 10th anniversary of this event.
