Kadena teacher dies Published March 10, 2008 KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- A Department of Defense Dependent's Schools teacher here died March 10. Jim Weaver, a science teacher at Kadena Middle School for 15 years, is survived by his wife and son. According to a DoDDS Okinawa District press release, "Jim will be missed greatly by his family and friends in West Virginia, friends and colleagues in Okinawa, and all of his students, both past and present." Memorial service information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
