Okinawa students learn physics and dimensions from 18th CMS
U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. William Kunsman, 18th Component Maintenance Squadron physical dimensions section supervisor, and U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Jarrod Keith, 18th CMS test measurement and diagnostic equipment technician, demonstrate the effects of a vacuum on marshmallows for Okinawa Christian School International 5th grade students April 28, 2016, at Kadena Air Base, Japan. In a vacuum the air is sucked out of the marshmallows causing them to expand and when air is restored in the chamber the marshmallows contracted. The 18th CMS is able to test equipment in a vacuum to ensure it can function in specific environments. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Omari Bernard)
