"A Strong Community Depends on You!" is this year's Community Assessment Survey theme that began at Kadena Air Base, Japan, mid April 2013.

The Community Assessment is the only Air Force-wide survey that gathers information tailored for each and every Air Force installation.

For more than a decade, the Air Force Community Assessment Survey has been the primary means to identify needs that improve established programs and services that support the entire Air Force community.

Previous surveys have resulted in new parks, job opportunities for spouses, increased support networks (i.e., Adopted Family Program, INTRO program, Singles Network Group) and new classes (e.g., New Dads.).

"As our Airmen and their families continue to rise to a multitude of global challenges, we must persevere in our efforts to promote resilience in our Airmen and the Joint Team. The importance of robust participation in this survey has never been greater," said Lt. Gen. Frank Gorenc, Air Force assistant vice chief of staff.

This survey is completely anonymous. The Air Force has contracted the research company, Ipsos, to conduct this survey. Ipsos has designed this survey so that no one - the Air Force, the government, nor Ipsos - can link any aspect of your responses to your personal identifiable information.
