Updated jogging policy released Published March 2, 2012 By 18th Wing Public Affairs KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Kadena's policy letter for jogging safety has recently been changed. Here are a few highlights of the new letter: - Individuals ans small groups are highly encouraged to use the Risner Fitness Center track, the jogging track at Marek Park or the jogging path in the Jennings Housing area. - If jogging on the street, stay close to the curb. If a sidewalk is available, joggers must not jog on the road. - Joggers will not jog on the golf course, the flight line or in jungle areas of the base. Formations of more than four will not use Douglas or Kuter Blvds during peak traffic periods. - Reflective material will be worn on the front and back of the upper body during hours of reduced visibility. - Listening devices while on roadways is prohibited.
