Kadena Airmen selected to top enlisted rank Published Nov. 3, 2011 18th Wing Public Affairs KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- The Air Force has selected eight Kadena senior master sergeants to receive the top enlisted rank. The 18th Wing chief master sergeant selects are: Walter Greene, 18th Component Maintenance Squadron Bobby Hughes, 18th Operations Support Squadron Maria Kraft, 718th Civil Engineer Squadron Jeffery Spitzer, 961st Airborne Air Control Squadron Christopher Moore, 18th Equipment Maintenance Squadron Anthony Soto, 18th Medical Support Squadron Mack Wysinger, 353rd Special Operations Maintenance Squadron Mark Weinandt, 390th Intelligence Squadron Air Force officials selected 487 of 2,201 eligible senior master sergeants for promotion to chief master sergeant for a selection rate of 22.13 percent. The average score for those selected was 659.88, with an average time in grade of 3.09 years and time in service of 22.85 years respectively. The average score was based on the following point averages: 134.98 for enlisted performance reports, 24.39 for decorations, 68.38 for the Air Force supervisory exam and 383.12 board score.
