Message from finance
If you are taking leave while on orders from DTS, you must submit a Form 988 with your voucher submission in DTS. To find your Form 988 in leave web, click the "View/Print Part II" button on the left menu.

There is new guidance that Government Travel Cards and Controlled Spending Account Cards are no longer authorized for personal use. This does not comply with previous guidance. Travelers are no longer authorized to use CSA cards or GTCs for personal use after reimbursement of the final settlement voucher. The member may request an EFT transfer from Citi by calling the number on the back of the card, withdraw the money from the ATM, request a check by mail, or log into the Citibank website to receive funds after reimbursement of the final voucher. For any questions, please contact your unit APCs.

If a member on CED orders departs 7 days before or after the proceed date, new orders must be cut to process the member's voucher. Amended orders will not be accepted.

Members must file a travel voucher within 5 workdays of arrival from PCS or TDY. If you fail to file in the allotted time, your First Sergeant will be contacted.

Do not detach members on TDY from their organizations in DTS. There are other methods which can be used by the TDY unit to process amendments or change authorizations as needed. Detaching a traveler while TDY limits the visibility of the home base in responding to inquiries and ensuring the military pay entitlements are properly started and stopped and ensuring all leave days are properly charged.
