Road Tax due July 31
As a reminder from 18th Security Forces Squadron, all "Y-plate" Status of Forces Agreement-status vehicles must purchase a 2011 Japanese Road Tax sticker by July 31. The 2011 sticker is red in color and has the number "23" in the middle. Owners will need all original paperwork to include the vehicle title, Japanese Compulsory Insurance, Property Damage Insurance, military registration and recycling ticket. Owners can get their 2011 road tax sticker from their insurance company, one of the Joint Services Vehicle Registration Office events held at each military installation on the island, or the Okinawa Road Tax office located outside Camp Kinser's Gate 4, next to the land transportation office.

For further information on updating your road tax sticker, please refer to the Camp Foster JSVRO at 645-3963/ 7481/ 4299. Displaying a non-current road tax sticker on the windshield of your vehicle is a ticketable offense, and not displaying any road tax sticker is also a separate ticketable offense. Vehicles must have current road tax paperwork and the sticker must be physically placed on the top of the front windshield in the center, near the rearview mirror.

All personnel will sign in at Room 115 in Bldg 428 for urinalysis testing.

Any questions should be directed to the Drug Demand Reduction program manager, Rory Calhoun, at 630-4402.

PCS assignment help
As a military personnel squadron, we are trying to service our customers better and allow them easier access by using SharePoint for relocation matters. By visit https://kadena.eim.pacaf.af.mil/18WG/18MSG/18FSS/FSM/FSMP/Relo/default.aspx, all customers will be able to see what is required for an overseas or continental U.S. assignment, what is needed for orders and final out.

The first document, "Read Me" information, is the starting point, and the rest of the documents are tabbed-out to assist you, the customer. This will save you time and you can start the process as soon as you receive your assignment. Personnel can also use this site even if they have yet to receive an assignment, to better educate themselves on what is expected of them when an assignment is assigned.
