CHITOSE AIR BASE, Hokkaido, Japan -- Crew chiefs from the 44th Fighter Squadron relocate six F-15s at the Chitose Air Base flightline to make room for additional jets coming in from Kadena. Nearly 200 Airmen from Kadena are at the Japanese airbase in northern Japan as part of an Aviation Training Relocation.

An ATR allows for bilateral training with the Japan Air Self Defense Forces for the common defense of Japan while reducing aircraft noise in Okinawa.
