Memorial service set for 909th ARS pilot

KADENA AIR BASE, Japan --  A memorial service in honor of Major Michael Kallai is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sept. 16 at Chapel One here.

Major Kallai, a KC-135 pilot serving as the18th Operations Group director of staff, was found unconscious in his home Sept. 12 and rushed to Camp Lester Naval Hospital for treatment. He was pronounced dead shortly after 9 a.m.

The incident is under investigation.
