Eye on fitness: Staying fit through weightlifting

How do you stay fit? Kadena members currently score an average of about 80 out of 100 points on their fitness test, while about eight percent of testers fail altogether. The fit test you know and love is changing, are you prepared for those changes? There are numerous physical activities at Kadena you can use to prepare for and excel at your next fit test.

Through photographs, Staff Sgt. Christopher Hummel tells the story of one of those activities: weightlifting. According to Sergeant Hummel, "weightlifting is a great anaerobic activity which improves speed and muscle strength. Whether you want to get bigger, lean out, cut up or just enjoy the smell of the gym, weightlifting is an option open to you at the Risner Fitness Center."
