SECAF, CSAF, CMSAF issue memo on DADT Published June 5, 2010 By 18th Wing Public Affairs WASHINGTON D.C. -- With legislative efforts moving forward to repeal the Department of Defense's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, the Air Force's top three leaders want Airmen to know that their opinion counts in the ongoing Comprehensive Review of the law. The Secretary of the Air Force, Chief of Staff and Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force issued a memo to Air Force leaders June 1 reiterating that the goal of current study efforts underway is to understand all of the issues and potential effects associated with repealing the current law. They reminded Air Force leaders to communicate with their Airmen about the importance of their opinions in the process, as well as those of their families. Airmen who wish to provide candid, anonymous feedback on the potential repeal of the existing policy may provide comments at www.defense.gov/DADT. You may read the SECAF, CSAF, CMSAF memo here.
