Last call for Overseas Housing Allowance and Utility Survey The Triennial Overseas Housing Allowance Utility and Move-In Expenses Survey for Japan has been extended until May 31 to encourage maximum participation from military personnel living off base. Officials need at least 50% participation island-wide for the survey to be valid (currently 38 percent), so encourage your friends and coworkers who live off-base to complete the survey. This is a chance to have a direct impact on your pay, because survey responses will be used to calculate how much OHA all service members on Okinawa receive for rent and utilities (e.g. A/C in the summer). The survey takes about 30 minutes to complete, but has a huge impact. Log on to https://www.defensetravel.dod.mil/oha/survey/aprumemie1.html to complete the survey.
