Patriot Express contract changes route, adds 50 seats Published March 22, 2010 By 18th Wing Public Affairs KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Starting April 1, Kadena's Patriot Express contract changes the mission's aircraft, routing and adds 50 more seats. The carrier, North American Airlines, will be flying the Boeing 767 with a capacity of 240 seats for duty and space-available passengers. Patriot Express will depart Seattle on Thursdays with stops at Yokota Air Base, Japan and Iwakuni Marine Corps Air Station, Japan before arriving at Kadena around 4 p.m. local time Friday. The return mission to Seattle will depart Kadena at 9 a.m. on Saturdays with stops at Iwakuni and Yokota before arriving in Seattle approximately 11:30 a.m. Saturday local time. Kadena's AMC terminal will open at 5 a.m. on Saturdays for passengers check-in. To avoid long lines on Saturday mornings, the AMC terminal will offer early check-in from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays for duty passengers with TMO reservations.
