18th FSS wins AF-level awards

RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas (AFNS) -- The deputy chief of staff for manpower, personnel and services recently announced the 2009 award winners for the A1 community.

"The A1 community is ready, engaging and constantly leaning forward to support Airmen and taking care of their families," said Lt. Gen. Richard Newton. "While celebrating the accomplishments of our entire community, I would also like to identify specific, outstanding individuals, programs and teams."

The 18th Force Support Squadron received awards for Civilian Personnel Program of the Year and Community Center Program of the Year.
