Kadena hosts joint, bilateral training Published March 2, 2010 By Senior Airman Shaunlee Hostutler 18th Wing Public Affairs KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Flying units across all four U.S. military services combined assets with Japan Air Self Defense Force, or JASDF, pilots to train for the defense of Japan. The joint, bilateral training hosted by Kadena Air Base gave U.S. and Japanese pilots a chance to familiarize themselves with each other's capabilities while practicing simulated conflict scenarios.
