Team Kadena honors veterens past, present
Veterans from all over Okinawa came to the Veterans Day memorial ceremony at Kadena Air Base, Japan, Nov. 11, 2014. President Woodrow Wilson first commemorated Nov. 11 as Armistice Day in 1919 to honor the veterans of World War I. The day was later changed to Veterans Day in 1954 by President Dwight D. Thieves at Kadena barred from base, sanctioned with community service
Kadena Security Forces recovered some of the dozens of items stolen by six dependents on Kadena Air Base, Japan. Three of them were barred from Kadena for 10 years.
