The Green Demons fuel up at Kadena
A U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II, assigned to the 356th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, 354th Air Expeditionary Wing, taxis on the runway for a hot-pit refueling at Kadena Air Base, Japan, June 27, 2022. Hot-pit refueling uses a single-point refuel pump which allows an aircraft to be refueled immediately after landing, with the engine running.
