Running full afterburner
Members of the 18th Component Maintenance Squadron engine test facility, run an F-15 Eagle engine at full afterburner while checking for leaks and any other issues January 5, 2016, at Kadena Air Base, Japan. The facility is one of a kind facility built in the 90’s and was paid for by the Government of Japan in an effort to reduce noise pollution in the local community while maintaining the critical role being able to test and have F-15 engines ready at a moment’s notice.
