Team Dad event recognizes children for essays

U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Phillip Easton, 18th Mission Support Group superintendent, and his daughter are recognized by Dr. Thomas Hawks, University of Phoenix Asia Pacific Military Campus director, at a "Team Dad" event at the Kadena Officers Club on Kadena Air Base, Japan, May 29, 2013. Easton helped distribute awards to children who were recognized for their outstanding essays written for the Team Dad contest. The essays were written by military students who live on Okinawa and attend Department of Defense Dependents Schools. The essays served as a tribute to their fathers and the important role they play in their lives. (Courtesy photo by Dr. Scott Goldberg)
