Bells ring for Fallen Firefighter comrades

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Allen Haynes, Kadena Fire Emergency Services firefighter, rings a bell nine times during the Bells Across America Fallen Firefighters ceremony on Kadena Air Base, Japan, Oct. 7, 2012. Departments sound a series of bells when a firefighter has died in the line of duty to alert members that a comrade has made the ultimate sacrifice.
