18th LRS NCO, civilian to claim Kadena Energy Warrior Award

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Ancele Prince, 18th Logistic Readiness Squadron Vehicle Management Flight facility manager, turns off power to unused shop machines at the facility on Kadena Air Base, Japan, Sept. 12, 2012. Prince and Tamotsu Arime, the alternate facility manager for the shop, recently earned the Energy Warrior Award for their efforts to conserve energy in their building. Based on statistics from early September, Kadena personnel met a 5.9-percent energy reduction goal over the last two years saving the Air Force nearly $5 million in energy bills.
