Yadira Call was named the Kadena Chapel Protestant Parish Outstanding Volunteer of the Year during the 2012 Annual Volunteer Recognition Ceremony at the Rocker NCO Club April 17, 2012, at Kadena Air Base, Japan. She volunteered 216 hours within the last five months volunteering with women and children in the Kadena Chapel Community. As President of the Kadena Chapel Protestant Women’s Ministry, she led over 775 women and mentored 470 volunteers who have in turn served more than 1,700 hours in women’s ministry and hosted over 90 chapel wing events and retreats.
