33rd RQS continues to hone their skills during PACIFIC THUNDER

Pete Ortiz Jr., 33rd Rescue Squadron director of operations on Kadena Air Base, Japan, is hoisted up to a rescue helicopter during exercise PACIFIC THUNDER Nov. 3 near Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. PACIFIC THUNDER is a 10-day exercise from Oct. 31 to Nov. 9 at Osan AB. The exercise involves the 33rd Rescue Squadron from Kadena AB, Japan, and the 25th Fighter Squadron from Osan.
