Kadena Airmen teach JASDF members how to maintain jets

Members of the Japan Air Self Defense Force maintenance division out of Naha inspect an F-15C external fuel tank?s internal components. Airmen from the 18th Component Maintenance Squadron illustrated how inspections are done within the 18 Maintenance Group on Oct. 31 at Kadena Air Base, Japan. ?We really appreciate this kind of tour from the 18th Wing,? said Maj. Yaji, the maintenance branch chief from the Japan Air Defense Command, located in Tokyo Japan. ?We learned many things about how to better store our equipment and inspect it more regularly. We also got to know each other at a working level, and we enjoy having these opportunities.? (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Sara Csurilla)
