U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Gilbert Palos, 18th Component Maintenance Squadron fuels system craftsman and squadron ?superstar?, walks members of the Japan Air Self Defense Force maintenance division through an annual inspection of an F-15C external fuel tank Oct. 31 at Kadena Air Base, Japan. Members of the JASDF located in Naha, Japan and the Air Defense Command maintenance branch chief in Tokyo, Japan visited the 18th Maintenance Group to learn different processes and techniques on how to better maintain their own F-15Cs. ?We are showing our JASDF visitors how we perform maintenance inspections and treatment of the external fuel tanks when removed from the aircraft,? said Capt.
