Kadena Dental Clinic goes 3-D

Kadena's 18th Dental Squadron has recently acquired a new x-ray unit that allows providers to view high resolution images of a patient's teeth, roots and jaws in 3-D. Cone Beam Computer Technology scans offer visibility of the smallest anatomical detail superior to conventional dental radiographs. The ability to view and manipulate images of patients in 3-D is unique to CBCT. (Courtesy photo)
