Karing Kennels advises pet-ownership preparedness

Stacie Clarke, wife of Airman 1st Class Devin Clarke from the 961st Airborne Air Control Squadron, pets a dog that had been turned in to the 18th Force Support Squadron's Karing Kennels adoption center while other turned-in pets wait next to their kennels' gates May 31. Roughly 1,100 pets are turned into Karing Kennels each year, but the staff from Karing Kennels encourages owners that for whatever reason they can't keep their pet, turning the pet in to the Kennels should be the last resort.
