CAMP TAJI, Iraq – Ten U.S. air traffic controllers and Iraq Training and Advisory Mission – Air advisors discuss plans and challenges ahead as American military forces prepare to leave various airfields throughout Iraq in the coming months. Air traffic controllers from Taji, Ali and Baghdad held the meeting April 28 to discuss the impact and specific operational requirements for U.S. air traffic controllers as their work locations shrink throughout the transition process.
