Kadena dragon boat team rough up the waters

The men of Kadena’s Dragon Boat racing team spend their afternoons practicing for the upcoming race at Kadena’s Fairchild pool, April 5. The Dragon Boat race can be traced back to the 13th century in China. A war hero named Kitsugen committed suicide after being falsely accused of betraying the Emperor. Once the Emperor found out about the incident he held a Dragon Boat race in his honor. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Airman 1st Class Maeson L. Elleman)
