Okinawa City hosted a big international carnival Nov. 21-22 just outside of Gate 2 at Kadena Air Base, Japan. The cultural event brought together many of the different cultures that exist on Okinawa from displaying a colorful parade, tug of war, a variety of performances and exotic foods. This is an annual event aimed to contribute to creating the city as an "Internationally Cultural Town in Tourism" through music, traditional dances, and sports events. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech.
