Shogun-Domestic Violence Run and Walk

Senior Airman Sheri Mason, 18th Civil Engineer Squadron, reads about the lives of first-hand victims of domestic violence during the 4th Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Run/Walk held on Torri Station, Japan, Oct. 13, 2007. The first-hand accounts were attached to wooden figures to remind participants that human lives were lost in a lot of the cases. Locals, service members of the United States military forces, and Girl Scout troops came from all over the island to participate in the 5K run and walk meant to raise awareness and stop domestic violence in the military community.
