KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Staff Sgt. Birdeal Ferguson, crew chief with the 718th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron here uses a generator to power up an HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter July 23. The 33rd Rescue Squadron conducted training this week in preparation for its upcoming deployment to Kandahar, Afghanistan, to conduct combat search and rescue and medical rescue missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
