Jeopardy host Alex Trebek visits Kadena

KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Alex Trebek, host of the Jeopardy game show, talks to U.S. Air Force fighter pilots at Kadena March 31 during a Jeopardy game show USO tour of Japan. Speaking with Mr. Trebek are (from left) Capt. Phil Colomy, F-22 pilot with the 27th Fighter Squadron, Langley Air Force Base, Va.; Capt. Kirby Enser, F-15 pilot with the 67th Fighter Squadron, Kadena Air Base; and Capt. Jonathan Airhart, also an F-22 pilot with the 27th Fighter Squadron. The two Langley pilots are here on the F-22 stealth fighter's first overseas deployment. During the Jeopardy show's two-day trip to Kadena, Mr. Trebek and show staff also toured an F-22, a KC-135 Stratotanker, an E-3 AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System), an F-15C fighter, and an HH-60 helicopter. The F-22 is temporarily based at Kadena on its first overseas deployment from Langley Air Force Base, Va. Kadena residents were allowed to try-out to be contestants on Jeopardy, as well.
