Jeopardy host Alex Trebek visits Kadena

KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Alex Trebek, host of the Jeopardy game show, gets a close-up look at the controls of an F-22 stealth fighter March 31 during a Jeopardy USO tour to Japan. Explaining the finer points of the F-22 are Staff Sgt. Michael Mauriello (left) and Tech. Sgt. Chris McEwan. They are both deployed here with the 27th Fighter Squadron from Langley Air Force Base, Va., on the F-22's first overseas deployment. During the Jeopardy show's two-day trip to Kadena, Mr. Trebek and show staff also toured a KC-135 Stratotanker, an E-3 AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System), an F-15C fighter, and an HH-60 helicopter. Kadena residents were allowed to try-out to be contestants on Jeopardy, as well. (Air Force/Senior Master Sgt. Kenneth Fidler)
