Jeopardy host Alex Trebek visits Kadena

KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Alex Trebek, host of the Jeopardy game show, listens as U.S. Air Force Capt. Dallas Weills explains how Kadena's KC-135 aerial refueling aircraft can fly critical-care patients to hospitals in the United States. Captain Weills is an instructor flight nurse with the 18th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron. During a two-day Jeopardy USO tour to Kadena March 30-31, Mr. Trebek and Jeopardy show staff also toured an F-22 stealth fighter, a KC-135 stratotanker, an E-3 AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System), an F-15C fighter, and an HH-60 helicopter. The F-22 is temporarily based at Kadena on its first overseas deployment from Langley Air Force Base, Va. Kadena residents were allowed to try-out to be contestants on Jeopardy, as well.
