Shogun-Memorial Park

Peace Prayer Park, located in Itoman, has 94 wall segments dedicated to Americans and Europeans that died during the battle of Okinawa. Tech. Sgt. Victor Follis from the 18th Maintenance Group does pencil rubbings and takes photographs of names requested by relatives or friends who lost loved ones during the battle. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech.
